“Happy Birthday!” (Nikita, 1995) a Russian edutainment game playthough
“Happy Birthday!” is a cool little edutainment game developed & published by Nikita Ltd. in 1995. It’s actually a rather well known title. It was marketed as a game which supposed to teach your child English, but I personally think it falls short in that aspect. But it’s still a fun little game with colorful graphics, cheerful music and a few (annoying) mini-games.
What I totally forgot to mention is that the game actually has a sequel called (guess?) “Happy Birthday 2” which I’ve seen a lot of magazine ads for in the 90s, but have never actually encountered. This time around it was a Windows CD-ROM release with SVGA graphics and a vocabulary of 800 words. However, it looks like it was largely a remake of the first game: http://www.1c.ru/vendors/nikita/BIRTHDAY.2/BIRTHD2.HTM

I am looking to add this game to the DOS preservation efforts TDC & eXoDOS, which are hosted at archive.org. Can you point to where you obtained the files please?
It’s already a part of TDC.
